Dear Vigdis,
I like some guy and he doesn’t like me back. What do I do?

Dear Anonymous,
Start of by being friends. I find that the best relationships start off with two people being great friends, enabling them to really get to know one another. And through time, maybe you two will be right for each other; or maybe you’ll just find that he isn’t what he seemed to be. Time is bliss, so stay focused on being friends first and work your way from there. And don’t worry if things don’t work out, because if it doesn’t, he wasn’t the right guy for you. Don’t settle!

Dear Vigdis,
Do you think it’s smart to date someone from a different school?
-Anonymous, 10th grade
Dear Anonymous,
It really all depends. You need to ask yourself ”Am I okay with only seeing this person on weekends?”, “Do I trust that person to not not cheat?”, “Is this person worth my time to make it work with going to different schools?”. If your answers to questions like these are mostly positive, then I say go for it! If you have that much in common and know the relationship will be worth-while, then give it your all.
